Job description

We’re seeking a talented professional to step into the role of People Management Technician, with a special focus on Payroll. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the entire life cycle of an employee at VORTAL Group, with colleagues in Portugal and Spain. Your responsibilities will include validating and controlling payroll for our different companies, in collaboration with an external provider, report on metrics regarding our People, always ensuring legal compliance. As all members of the team, Recruitment and People Engagement are everyday activities, by wish you will learn a lot about our business and unique talent. What can I do here?

Payroll/ Admin for Portugal and Spain
Validate and control the monthly payroll and other payments, in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring strict compliance with all legal requirements;
Validate and control the tax and social security payment to ensure compliance with fiscal and legal obligations and make the corresponding payments within the relevant deadlines;
Keep payroll records ensuring accuracy, consistency of the records and transparency and guarantee relevant departments within the company receive all the required information;
Generate the relevant files and reports to enable the salary information to be integrated into the Accounting system;
Ensure the provision of mandatory and required information by the different entities (social security, ACT, etc);
Prepare the HR management report, according to the indicators defined by the company.
Recruitment & Selection – 360º perspective, from sourcing to offer presentation.
People Motivation and Engagement.

What is expected of me?

Degree in Management, Human Resource Management or Law (in Portuguese or Spanish context),
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR administrative management in Portugal and/or Spain:
In-depth experience in payroll management, labor and tax legislation.
Analytical spirit and oriented to work quality;
High level of rigor and responsibility;
Knowledge of MS Excel;
Portuguese fluency – written and spoken.
English fluency – written and spoken.
Spanish is valued.

You will integrate the growing team of Corporate Portugal! We are a team that focuses on people, so we tailor the role to the person, not the other way around. Responsibilities

Support our clients drawing best value from the Vortal platforms;
Create opportunities to develop the existing portfolio of services;
Manage your client portfolio and renewals;
Lead the implementation of VORTAL platforms in your clients and liaise with internal teams;
Approach suppliers, to let them know about opportunities available on our platform, suitable for their business;
Stimulate usage of our platform, by contacting companies to submit proposals.

Education & Experience

Bachelor or Master in Management, Engineering or equivalent;

Job description

We are looking for a client satisfaction enthusiast to join VORTAL’s Business Network team in a start-up-like environment, being accountable for nurturing and increasing the lifetime value of clients as well as giving support and ensuring they use and take the most out of our platform. It is expected to increase cross and up-selling along the way, retain clients, and collect debt where the main focus is the increase of automated renewal rate – a happy client is a “stay-in” client!

The ideal person for this role must have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for getting things done, and a problem-solving mindset. Must have drive and be aware of how companies from different sectors develop their business (from prospection, lead generation, marketing, sales, and customer retention). Integrated into the Business Network team and side by side with product, marketing, and business accelerator teams you will have the mission to understand the Clients’ needs and to set up, develop, and improve the product offering and a pragmatic go-to-market and sales strategy, ensuring retention and revenue budgets of this business line.

Responsibilities

Guarantee increase of renewal rates, and the retention of customers;
Provide specialist support for any need;
Increase new business revenues by cross and up-selling and manage all the inherent commercial activity and corresponding documentation;
Use a CRM as a work tool and be able to organize and register all the information and documentation inherent to the client’s journey in Vortal;
Analyze market insights and obtain customer feedback to identify and report to the accountable teams the necessary adjustments to the marketing and sales strategy and to discover product improvements.

Education

Up to 3 years as an account manager or customer success agent;
Previous experience working with CRM software (Salesforce, Pipedrive, Dynamics 365…);
Degree in Management, Marketing, Communication Sciences or equivalent (preferable);
Having worked in a B2B environment focused on SaaS (highly valued).
